What is AI visibility, and why does it matter for a small business?+
More customers are asking ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations instead of scrolling through search results. Those systems can only recommend businesses they can reach, read, and trust. AI visibility is the work of making sure yours qualifies: structured data that states who you are, crawler access that lets them in, content they can actually extract, and independent sources that confirm you exist.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?+
No, and you should be wary of anyone who says they can. Nobody controls what an AI model outputs, and reliable measurement of how often a business gets cited does not exist yet. What I can do is make sure you are eligible — that AI systems can access your site, understand what you do, and find corroboration elsewhere. That part is genuinely under your control, and most small businesses have not done it.
Is SEO dead now that AI answers questions directly?+
No, but it has changed shape. Traditional search still sends real traffic, and the technical foundations of SEO — crawlability, structured data, fast pages, clear content — are the same foundations AI systems depend on. The difference is that being ranked tenth used to still get you seen. In an AI answer there is no tenth place, so the work shifts toward being clearly understood rather than merely present.
Do I still get maintenance, updates, and backups?+
